I have a niece who has moved out on her own and attends college now. She loves to weld. She asked me for a painting for her new home and I was kinda stumped for awhile. I got to talking to her a bit on face book and she referred me to a you tube video of her welding. I thought, "That's it!". I froze a shot off the you tube and painted it with a bit more color. I took some creative license with it on that. So this painting is actually our Emilee, in action, welding.
