I was painting these chickens and rooster at the studio downtown and my friend happened in and decided to name the rooster Travis. She said as she lowered her voice a bit that Travis spoke like this, And her voice got real sultry and sort of Bostonian in accent. He's the cock of the walk here, keeping these chicks in place. Ever watchful. So, we named this one," Travis and His Chicks".
