Soul Circuit ll

This piece is a mixed media piece, acrylic, oil stick, inks and copper wire. It measures, 36"x18" on gallery wrap. I was a bit apprehensive to put wire onto the canvas but once i got over it it took a life of its own. It now has  three dimensional aspect that is quite nice I think.

Beginning of New Series

30"x40", acrylic on gallery wrap canvas. "Opposing Forces".
18"x36", acrylic on gallery wrap canvas. "The Mating Dance".

These two paintings are the first in a new series as yet un named. I am so excited about these pieces as they reflect what really goes on in my mind while I paint. It has taken years of training to get that from my mind and heart to my hands and onto the canvas.
More will be revealed and placed on canvas soon. I will post as they are developed.

monument Valley

This piece was painted at my Lowe Mill studio , downtown Huntsville, Al.. One of my great friends purchased this beauty seen upside down and from a photograph of it lying on a table. She said that she just knew it was hers! I love when a client connects so instantly and immediately with a piece. I know it was meant for her.
I do believe it was a 30"x48", gallery wrap, acrylic on canvas. For me it was a journey in spirituality. It came with ease and I love when that happens.

the wedding was about to take place! " The Wedding." 40"x30", acrylic on canvas

ahhhh, the cheshire cat slips a smile as spooky and broad as can be in the mushrooms of your mind.
this piece was a commission done for a dear friends son as a gift for his lovely wife who just adores the Decatur Ballon fest. Many Happy returns to you Morgan.
