The Path

This Painting is new, aprox 30"x24", acrylic on canvas with a lovely textured surface. It's my impression of a real place that a friend of mine sent to me via photograph. I just had to paint it!

The Umbrella Girl

I chose a new word for the year and it was "Optimism." The first painting that i have done with that mantra is The Umbrella Girl. IT may be raining but she's out there playing and splashing in the puddles!

 I like these kinds of pieces because i Love to walk in the woods, somehow closer to my creator. I feel like this one has that forestry feel.

Painting My Heart Out

 Well, I've been supper busy painting these last few weeks. This one, "Sunrise Beauty", measures 48"x48", mixed media, acrylic paint, and inks. I see this couple walking down the beach and holding hands. Confronted with a super show of sky colors reflecting off everything around including the water.

 Here is a classic Cruciform formation in abstract. A must see in person as the canvas is textured and the colors fill in he gaps in the texture and roll down so beautifully. 30"x24"

 Gone Fishin', 24"x30". Just love that weeping willow in there. I'll just bet there's a tire swing hidden in there somewhere!
